Solar PV DC power module surge protector consists of two or three 

varistor power modules for the second protection of L+/L--PE. 

The power module surge protector is used in solar photovoltaic 

DC distribution system to protect the equipment from surge pulse 

and transient overvoltage caused by external (lightning strike, 

electromagnetic radiation interference, etc.) or internal (system 

pull-on effect, inductive and capacitive load start-up and stop, etc.).
